Hiking and Nature

Beyond Goldberry Woods’ own trails, adventure awaits in these nearby natural areas:

  • Warren Woods State Park – Home to one of the last surviving old growth beech-maple forests in Michigan

  • Grand Mere State Park – Dunes, woodland, and lake views all in one spot

  • Bear Cave – The cave was formed over 10,000 years ago as a result of the glacial drift and is the only natural cavern in Michigan

  • Fernwood Botanical Gardens – A hidden gem filled with natural beauty and cultivated charm. Featuring a diverse collection of plants, serene trails, and picturesque vistas
