What airports are closest to Goldberry Woods?
Goldberry Woods is located in Union Pier, Michigan, near the Michigan/Indiana border. The closest airport is South Bend International Airport (SBN), approximately 35-40 minutes away. Guests may also fly into the Chicago-area airports, Chicago Midway (MDW) or Chicago O'Hare (ORD), which generally offer more flight options.
What are the on-site accommodation details?
We are so happy to have you stay with us! All on-site accommodations at Goldberry Woods are covered by Carrie & Chet for the duration of the weekend.
What should I know about travel time and time zones?
Goldberry Woods is in the Eastern Time Zone, while Chicago airports are in the Central Time Zone. Goldberry Woods is one hour ahead of Chicago, so please factor that into your travel plans. The estimated drive from Chicago-area airports to Goldberry Woods is 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic.

Atmosphere is relaxed. Bring activewear for trails and kayaks, and don't forget your swimsuit for the pool and sauna!

Dressy but comfortable. We suggest outdoor-friendly shoes (like wedges or block heels) as we'll be enjoying various parts of the property.

Guests may arrive as early as Thursday, Oct 8 at 4:00 PM. Check-out is no later than Tuesday, Oct 13 at 10:00 AM.
What amenities are available on the property?
Goldberry Woods features an indoor pool and sauna, hiking trails, kayaks, canoes, and bikes. There's also plenty of room for farm fun and games!
